Paris travel

Today, Paris is one of the few iconic cities in the world that truly lives up to its hype. I’ve spent years visiting the city, have organized tours here, and even lived here for a bit. It is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. As Hemingway said, “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” He wasn’t wrong. As iconic as it is, Paris is also gigantic, with thousands of years of history and a plethora of things to see and do. It would take a lifetime to explore all of Paris. Fortunately, with a little planning, you can see the highlights over just a few days. This travel guide to Paris can help you plan your trip, save money, and make the most of your visit to the City of Light!

ways to reduce stress right now A little bit of stress can be useful, but ongoing stress can affect your mental and physical wellbeing. Feeling stressed? Take ten minutes to try one of the below activities and decrease your stress levels. 1. Exercise It’s a cliché for a reason:  exercise  really does prompt your body to release feel-good hormones like endorphins, which can help you to feel less stressed. Stress can also make you subconsciously tense your muscles, which exercise might help to release. It doesn’t have to be a full workout: walk around the block, do 20  jumping jacks , go for a quick run or find a 10 minute yoga flow on  YouTube  to follow. 2. Organise Stress can kick in when you’re feeling overwhelmed by the number of tasks that need to be done or deadlines that must be met. Writing a to-do list or time management strategy can help you focus on seeing each task through to completion. Sit down and write out everything you need to get done an...

New Delhi: Just in time for the World Animal Day on Monday,  Lakme  has agreed to join  PETA  US' 'Global Beauty Without Bunnies' programme, which certifies  cosmetics , personal-care, and household goods companies and brands that don't test on animals. "Lakme, which is owned by  Hindustan Unilever , will now feature the programme's PETA-approved bunny logo on its packaging," PETA India said in a release here. "Not testing any of our products on animals is critical to our values at Lakme and is in line with Unilever's Positive Beauty vision," said head of innovations at Lakme, Sumati Matti. In India, testing cosmetics or their ingredients on animals was banned in 2014, as was the importation of animal-tested cosmetics.
